checkbox refresh

hi all i have a checkbox with datagrid control. i can select multiple checkboxes to delete records. when i select more than one record i am able to get the ids of all the records and once i click on delete all the records are deleted. but when i select another record after deleting older ones i am getting the ids of the older ones and this new one. i mean the old ids are not refreshed. its going on appending to the id string. this makes me problem when i delete records or edit recordes. how to refresh values in checkbox which i uncheck or after some actions are done.......

Could you please confirm which version of the software you are using. When we moved to the 6.0 version we went to a more Windows friendly version i.e. no check boxes but use the windows type of selection - CTRL or Shift select. Also what function of delete are you using? If the objects are under retention you should be using the disposition manager to perform this function.
