Question about DAM Login

Hello all :
I am the first time touch the Documentum products only D6.A question about DAM Login.I just want to do a subsystem module throught DAM,and then integrate it into a system(actually it is a forum). How I can skip the login step in DAM and I just privde a interface to validate the authority of the login information when I logined through the forum homepage.The same as validating whether register or not.Please do me a favor and give me a guide.^_^

It sounds you don't want to do any DAM customization...you have rich media content in DCTM and you want to serve up this content (through an img tag?) into a forum application?

Read the [i]Documentum Foundation Services Development Guide[/i], which is a web services product that makes it easy to integrate DCTM ECM functionality into existing application because of its adherence to the SOAP protocol and the multitude of libraries and tool support for web services.

Seems to me like you want to customize WDK login component (used in DAM application too).

In your specific case, probably you would want to override the authenticate method to silently login using login credentials from the database (or other storage) wherever it is stored when the user provided it in the forum home page.
