I think the reason is that the EDN Edition uses SQLServer 2005 and there is an issue SQLServer installing 2005 on Vista that requires some manual steps and downloads that probably can't be automated in the installer.
On top of that, I don't want to be rude but Vista is a big pile of asdFW#$%)(FWK)AAER(#324dfwcs. Can you believe they re-introduced the blue screen of death that was almost completely disappeared in XP
Hi I could install Contents Server on Vista. But before installing SQL server make sure that you have VISTA SP2 installed.
