After Batch Processing on HVS, Rollback doesn't work?

Dear everyone,

I tested HVS(High Volume Server) for upcoming project.

I typed the sample code in HVS Development Guide and Run the code.

But, I got the Out of Memoery on the Java Heap.

Several times, I got the java memory error. Finally, I got the following error.

I checked my C:\ drive. Its free size is 50GB but now is 4M. What's wrong with HVS rollback?

I run the dm_Dmclean, dm_DMFileScan job manually. It can't reorganize my C:\ drive.

How can I reorganize the C:\Documentum\data folder?

Deleting (or rollingback) objects from the database is distinct from deleting the actual content on the filestore. You need to run the dmClean and dmFileScan jobs from DA to remove orphaned content, see the Content Server Administration Guide for more details on these jobs.

If you are getting out of memory exceptions, you really need to increase the heap size available to the JVM (-Xmx).

Even the paged memory size is going to fail if you bring disk space down that dangerously low. If this is the same drive that has the Windows pagefile, space this low will lead to all kinds of strange errors in any application.

If you have another physical drive, you could change the location of the data folder, and through Windows move the actual folder. Another option would be to add a second filestore through DA that points to another drive. Then you could have your new objects imported into the new filestore.

When I try to inject large data to Content Server by using HVS Batch, "C:\Documentum\data" folder size is growing.

Finally, The HVS Batch meet the Java Heap error, the filestore size doesn't shrink.

The HVS Batch meet the Java Heap error repeatedly, filestore grow with Garbage data.

How can I remove(reorganize) the Garbage data in filestore?

Is there a solution on this case?

I tried to run the DMClean, DMFileScan job on DA yesterday.

But, I missed the "-grace_period 168" parameter..^^!
