Checkbox value access from component tpl

I have a tpl that uses iw_include to include a second tpl. In the 1st TPL I pass checkbox values to the second tpl using $iw_param. In the second TPL I wish to display those values. I cannot get this to work. Only the first value in the checkbox list shows up when I preview the page. I am using TS 5.5.2 on WIndows.

Datacapture.cfg:

}
</iw_perl>
Alternatively, you might be able to do something like this:

@tmp = iwpt_dcr_list('dcr.Promotional Module[0].EventParticipation');
$iw_param{pEventParticipation} = \@tmp;
]]>
</iw_include>

}
