Yes, I did install developer edtion on Vista OS on laptop... no issues.. its running fine.. What's the trouble you are facing?

Hi!
I installed developer edition on vista and the jboss reports an error on start up. It sayes it can not connect to port 9084
Because of this error applications like Administrator and form builder do not get deployed.
Any help is welcome!!
Here are more details:
I installed developer edition 1.5.
docbase and docbroker run properly (I can connect via other mediums)
I have disabled my firewall (zone alarm).
I have disabled anti-virus (kaspersky).
I have turned of Uer Acount Controll (UAC).
I have added the following entries to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts
127.0.0.1 BAS-PC127.0.0.1 localhost
I hate Vista!

I still have this problem using Documentum xCP 1.0 (under 6.5SP2) on Windows XP SP3.
Please if any one could help! I'm stuck!
