Modifying dm_document display in 6.5 SP*

Hi there,

I need to add a tab in the display (properties, new, import, etc...) of dm_document to display some of the attributes not usually shown, such as a_extend_properties which is used in one of our applications.

In Composer, I can do it easily for custom object types but I can't modify for dm_document, also I can't modify the labels for some of the dm_document properties.

Before somebody tells me not to use dm_document, too late, it's a 10 years old system (started in EDMS98 and upgraded since then) and there are too many dm_document objects to change that now. Unfortunately, I wasn't here at the time to make sure that wouldn't happen. . Then again up to 5.*, that was never an issue as the dm_document display configuration could be changed

Any idea ?

You could still do it in the good old App Builder but for how long ???? no idea. I expect one of these days, it's not going to work with newer versions of the CS anymore

If you are using Webtop you can costumize at that level. The attributes component merges de categories from attributelist[id=attributes] with the data dictionary by default. If nothing else you can disable data dictionary population and specify the categories you want in the attributelist configuration.
