Getting error "object that exceeds the network buffer size"

Hi All,

I am getting below error when I try to access an object. I am not able to view properties or delete object through DA, Webtop, IAPI tools.

"attempt to return object that exceeds the network buffer size"

Any inputs would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like you have an object that has very large repeating attribute value. I would turn on log4j tracing to track down the object that causing the problem.

To get around the issue, do a dql on the object instead of a retrieve or getobject.

Thanks a lot for the response. Infact the file system on Content server host was full. After adding additional space it is working fine.
