FTI server in developers edition?

Installed Developers Edition (65SP2) with no issues.

Don't see FTI server, the documentation states this includes a full text indexing 'system'.

Ran fulltext installer, asks to remove existing indexing agent. No indexing agent configuration program under start > programs > documentum to uninstall index agent. Index Server or Index configuration program not listed in add/remove programs.

Can I add a FTI server to use the existing indexing agent or how to delete existing indexing agent and add FTI server/agent?

I just went through 6.5 Index Server/Agent upgrade. It is CRITICAL that you uninstall Index Server AND Index Agent using the uninstall binaries. If you try to delete the Index server/agent manually using DQL, but not the apppropriate binaries, the installation of both may fail.

I am sure u solved ur problem cuz of time. I have a problem like that I uninstall indexServer and indexAgent then install again index agent and index server but I can not delete old index agent from DA (documentum administrator) in Indexing Manegement please may u help me How can I delete the old agent..

You should be able to delete using DQL:

select * from dm_ftindex_agent_config

Find your old one and then delete using this DQL:

delete dm_ftindex_agent_config object where r_object_id='...'

I did.. now there is just one problem of me that FAST FULLtext Engine Configration status is Not responding even index Queue has a list after my install index server I think I should delete the index server and re install again with migration mode..
