Missing business data

Hello people,

I posted the same question on BPM forum.
I need help for displaying business data in PRS and dashboard.
I confuge Audit trial settings as it is described in manual. I have created a new user through DA and now I was able to select config audit option as extended priviledges for the new user. I changed audit trail settings in BPM with this user.
Also in BPM in my WF on Activity Inspector, data tab, packages I chacked this package can be used to generate reports. I start a WF, attach a package and have a problem. I cannot see the data of custom object type (new dm_document type) in my report (like title, subject and so on).
In PRS I can see under business data my custom object.Also, I created some reports showing the status of my WF, and it is ok, but for the package running in that WF there is no data at all (I attached a document because the package is mandatory field). how can I achive to see in my report which document is in the queue pending for the task?
I have job dm_WFReporting and it is active. but, table dbo.EB_dmdocument is without records even I started few WF with packages. I tried to reinstall BAM few times, but nothing's changed.

On the other mashine I have Documentum 6.0 SP1. I checked the jobs, I saw that on this version I have a job DM_WFPublishEvents, responsible for export BPM Business Data to BAM database. On Documentum 6.5 SP2 there is no that job. I really dont know if it should be. all other staff on BAM works ok, I have some reports regarding WF and WQ, and it shows the results perfectly. except about business data. It doesnt write the data in BAM table at all. even if I see in PRS it, I can create a report what I want but without data. so, I cannot say that BAM installation failed.

I get an error in bam.log:

ERROR [QUARTZ_Worker-6] org.quartz.core.ErrorLogger - Job (DCTM.DCTMServerPipe threw an exception.
org.quartz.SchedulerException: Job threw an unhandled exception. [See nested exception: org.springframework.jdbc.UncategorizedSQLException: SqlMapClient operation; uncategorized SQLException for SQL []; SQL state [null]; error code [0]; Error: executeQueryForObject returned too many results.; nested exception is java.sql.SQLException: Error: executeQueryForObject returned too many results.]

I will really appreciate any help.

If you are using Process Builder 6.5 can you try the following :

Go to Tools > Update BAM Data Definitions... and update the Package type data definitions.

There's 3 places in Process Builder where you need to check boxes in order to see business data in BAM.

1. In "Process Properties", "General" tab and "Audit trail settings" must be "On"

2. In "Process Properties", "Data" tab, the package or SDT must have "This package can be used to generate reports" enabled.

3. A similar box in each activity that you want to audit must also be enabled for the package.

Since BAM 6.5, there is no job required. BAM server takes care of replicating audit trail data to the BAM database.

I do not know anything about your workflow so my suggestion may or may not pertain.

From my experience so far (rather minimal actually), I have found that for manual activities, the custom object table (EB_DMDOCUMENT) doesn't get populated with a record until that activity is complete. This may actually be the case for automatic activities too but since they run fast enough, I haven't noticed.

In other words, while the activity is not completed, I have a record in BAM_ACTIVITY with a specific activity_id but my custom object table doesn't have a matching record. Once the user accepts the task and completes it, I then see a record in my custom object table with a matching activity_id from the BAM_ACTIVITY table.

What I am seeing, seems like a bug to me.

Problem solved.
Finally I have my data im table dbo.EB_dmdocument after I trigger a WF.
I start from begging one more time. this time, first I created a login and user on SQL Server, then I loggon as that user, then I created new BAM database. I associate BAM login with BAM database. after that I start to manualy create dbobjects and docbase objects (cmd files in BAM Data Loader/bin directory. before that I changed data-loader.properties and dfc.properties).
After all, I follow standard procedure.
and now, it works.
