media content transfer

Hello all.

My produect edition is Docutomum6.5 SP1,I have installed Content Server,MTS and AVTS.I deploy DAM at localhost.I upload a media file(.mpg format) to DAM and transfer it to .wmv format,but on Content Server there is not anything in \Docutomum\data\myRepository\streaming_storeage_01\00021606   directory.
When I view　properity page of the media file,the file can not play.
There is nothing in streaming_storeage_01,whether the media file can play or not?
