Display workflow description in inbox

I need to display the workflow description (dm_workflow, field - object_name) in the inbox list. 
Is there anyway to show this in the attributes or do I have to save the object_name from dm_workflow into dmi_queue_item? 
If so, any ideas how this can be done?  Thank you.

You cant update dmi_queue_item directly.  I suggest you look into customize the taskmanager component and modifying the query to union with the workflow name.
