Monitoring Inbox

We have requirement in which whenever user sends a mail with attachment to particular inbox the attachment should be save into appropriate folder in the repository.Locations can be determined from the subject of the mail.Mail server is Domino. Any approaches on this would be helpful.

Are you asking how to integrate Domino with Documentum? Or is you email already stored in Documentum and you want to move the attachments to a different location/folder?

Yes, want to integrate with Domino wherein single mail box will be monitored and all the email messages will be stored in Documenum.Attachments will be saved in a different folder based on the subject of the email.

Look at SourceOne product recently released by EMC. This product is intended to replace the user driven manual archiving of emails through client app (ie DCO).

Thanks for reply.Just to add that another requirement is checkin/checkout of the document through email message.As in users checks out document from the repository and that is mailed to the user id.Thereafter user can check his notes inbox and edit document therein.Once he is done with this he will mail the document to the single mail id and thereafter document is automatically checked in to the repository.

This functionality will be not available by SourceOne .Is it possible to do this by any other way?

Not sure, I'm have not personally implemented SourceOne to speak of its capabilities.

Ok.I meant to say that its not available in SourceOne as had just reviewed the documents for this.
