Date Format Issue

Hi,

I have a document which is having a custom attribute bill_date with the date value in DD/MM/YYYY format. When I am exporting this document and it is setting this date attribute value I am getting the following error message.

Full error is..

Unable to set attributes for object _02082009_18650524_217038 (090030398000296c) due to error: You have specified an unrecognized date representation '19/08/2009' based on format 'M/d/yyyy h:mm:ss a'.

Can anyone tell me how to fix it,

My Environment is Documentum 6.5 SP2 on Oracke Server in Red Hat Linux.

Do you have the same date format at the OS level on your CS, database and webtop servers ?

Try setting the value of dfc.date_format parameter in dfc.properties to dd/mm/yyyy on the ContentServer and Client machines (webtop or DA).

Also check the OS level format settings.

I saw the administrator guide for setting up the dfc.properties.

Should I make the add these lines to webtop/DA also? As right now it is having only docbroker connection information.

dfc.date_format=dd/mm/yyyy

And I am exporting this document from Captiva to Documentum repository not Webtop or DA at this point.

Kindly suggest.
