Documentum IAPI 6.0 issue

Hi ,

I am using Documentum 6.0 IAPI for document importing.

Getting following error

[DM_API_E_BADATTRNAME]error: "Bad attribute name 'is_writable' for document/object."

while using following IAPI command.

setpath , c , l , filepath , file_extension

Can anyone help me to resolve this problem . Is it any file_permission / file_type related issue ?

What is meant by "Bad attribute name 'is_writable' " ??

This is a bug that has been fixed in 6.0SP1 DFC. I am not sure if it is fixed in 6.0 DFC. Probably you would need to file a bug so that it gets fixed there as well

Currently I am using Documentum ( Server Version: 6.0.0.116 SP1 Win32.Oracle ) , but same error occurs.

Can you please confirm which updated version is required to resolve this error / bug ?

FYI : Same IAPI is working fine in Documentum 5.3 SP5

The bug is in DFC and not server. The bug has been fixed in 6.0 SP1 DFC. I observe that you are using 6.0SP1 Server. So if you get a DFC 6.0 SP1 hotfix you shouldn't see this issue.
