How we can upload or save the annotation file with the original document in the content repository p

Dear All,

How we can upload or save the annotation file with the original document in the content repository programmatically. We are saving all the annotations of the document in a separate binary or xml file (T_L or xml) and annotations will open with the document as an overlays (always editable). So I want to save the annotation file with the same document id in the content repository as a note.

How it is possible to save or upload original stream and annotation stream with the same document ID in the content repository so that next time document will open with the annotations.

Annotations are typically saved as different object and linked to the original document using dm_relation object. If you read the Content Server Fundamentals manual, there is an entire chapter chapter that talks about annotations.

Is it possible to get some java sample code for uploading two documents in the content repository with same document ID and i am not understand how we would get the annotation with the document.

No two objects in the repository can have the same r_object_id. You will have to create a custom type and have a custom ID attribute that you can store the r_object_id of the original document in both the original document and annotation.
