I'm puzzled as to what your problem might be. I've been running 64bit clients for months now, Windows XP 64, Vista 64, and now Windows 7 64 and I've never had any problems using the Documentum client applications.
Could you provide more detail?
It's good to hear that Webtop is working with 64 bit OS machines, but if you look (for example) in Webtop 6.5 SP1 release notes, for the browser environment there is no 64 bit OS support.
Dear EMC employees: Should we be aware of this (are there any issues), or just the documentation does not care enough about 64 bit OS versions?
Hi
I still stand by my statement
I am very clearly getting that the UCF dll is having some "Unsatisfied link error" popping up when i try to open any document.
I raised a SR for Tech support and they throwed it out simply saying as of now WE DONOT suppport client OS of 64 bit
P.S I am trying to upload files and it says only html and htm are allowed
I am trying to insert the image and it says max size limit is 2 MB
What shuld i do to show my error which is a bmp of 4 MB
My environment details are
client OS is
Documentum Products version:1. Content Server version: 6.0 SP12. CS operating system: SunOS s3.
3.Database version:Oracle 10.2.0.4
Application server environment:4. Operating System version : Suse Linux5. Application server version BEA Weblogic 10.0.1.0 (Unpatched/10.0.1.0)6. JDK version 1.57. Webtop version 6.0 SP1
Client Browser environment:8. Operating System version (32/64bit): W2K3 64 bit9. Browser version IE 6.010. JRE and version:Java Runtime 1.06.13& Java 1.05_09
Of course they reject your service request, what do you expect ? As mentioned in this thread, the release notes do specify that x64 is not a supported environment.
To be honest, I think it sucks as I work in engineering and a lot of CAD users are working on x64 for performances reasons, but I also understand that support is not going to spend any time investigating any issues on a not supported environment.
