Not able to authenticate using LDAP integration?

Hi Guys,

I have LDAP integration with the document and using the LDAP sync job to syc the users and groups to the documentum . All users and groups are pulled to the documentum but users are not able to authenticate against it webtop or DA application . Can you please tell me what could be the reason for this? Or is there any other configuration changes need to be done.

Its urgent. Please give me some advice.

Hi,

Did you check if job has finished correcltly_? All users and groups have been moved to DCTM_?

If yes, may be the problem is not the LDAP integration.

Did you try to create a local user in server machine and try to login with it? Did it work?

Sync job is creating users and groups and i saw the trace file , it shows no error.

I was wondering whether there is any thing which i am missing to make this work.

I created the User and i can login to the DA and Webtop by using this newly created

user in Repository . Please give me some inputs if anybody has any.

Verify that your LDAP creditentials are still valid when you created LDAP binding configuration.

When i run the Sync Job , it does work , that means , the credentials are right otherwise, it will give me error .

So i think Mr Jonny , its all right. Any other Pointer to look for ?

Hi kulveer,

Can you attach the dump of LDAP config object and also dump corresponding to the LDAP user object for which the authentication is failing. So, we can see why the issue is happening. If you are able to successfull create LDAP config object and run LDAP sync then the connectivity details and the binding DN credentials provided by you are correct. Are you seeing this behavior interemmitently?.
