Sending notification in documentum inbox

hi..I am new to documentum i want to send notification to user's DCTM inbox through DFC javacode.

I tried following sample code

IDfSysObject sysObj = (IDfSysObject)sess.getObject(new DfId("0900d5bb8001fd49"));
IDfTime t = new DfTime("08/09/2000", "mm/dd/yyyy");
IDfId inboxId = sysObj.queue("tuser","EventName",1,false,time,"Please review.");

But i am getting error in this code as the system is not able to find the class DfId and DfTime.

Can u plz tell me which pakage i have to import for the definition of these two classes.

I am getting following error.

notify_user.java:38: cannot find symbol
symbol : class DfId
location: class notify_user
IDfSysObject sysObj = (IDfSysObject)sess.getObject(new DfId("097e39e38003b1da"));
^
notify_user.java:39: cannot find symbol
symbol : class DfTime
location: class notify_user
IDfTime t = new DfTime("10/02/2009", "mm/dd/yyyy");

Have a look at the SessionHelper.getSessionManager() method. What does it return?

It should return IDfSessionManager, but the error indicates something somewhere references IIDfSessionManager - note the incorrect double i at the start.

How have to declared the sess variable?

From your error is looks to get an IDfSessionManager when what it should be is an IDfSession.

You use an instance of a session manager to get a session. This is all covered in the DFC development guide.

Perhaps you could post your example code so we can see what you are trying to do?

Minor error on the line getting the object

You have

IDfSysObject sysObj = (IDfSysObject)sess.getObject(new DfId("097e39e38003b1da"));

and it should be

IDfSysObject sysObj = (IDfSysObject)session.getObject(new DfId("097e39e38003b1da"));
