Documentum Developer version 6.5 sp2 Install - DocBase service not created

I just installed the Developer Edition (6.5 SP2) and noticed that the DocBase service was not created.

The 'documentum' database was created and populated.

The windows\system32\drivers\etc\services file was not modified to include the docbase service ports.

The Master service won't start, but if I start all of the existing child services, I can pull up webtop.

I had no problem installing the SP1 version on my laptop and can use that as a guide.

Can I manually create the service?

What version of the JRE do you have ? I've seen another post where the user was saying he had problem with 1.6 and oce he downgraded to 12.5, it worked fine. Who knows....
