EWebEditPro 3.0

We're using Teamsite 5.5 and have been doing some accessibility work. To aid the creation of 508 compliant content, we're thinking of upgrading to EWebEditPro 3.0 (as it's 508 compliant).

Does anybody have any experience of this upgrade. Any idea if Interwoven will support this and how easy it is?

i also asked the new ewebeditproclient.exe and havent heard back...i do know you now need admin rights to install it, which is a problem for me.

Upgrading to a newer eWebEditPro requires changes made to the eWebEditPro installs so it's integration with Teamsite will work. Also the license key is coded in Teamsite code. It can be done, but Interwoven will not support such upgrade if you upgrade it yourself.
Currently, Interwoven has already integrated eWebEditPro3.01 into its next release (TS6.0). So that might be something you can consider.
