Custom actions created in TS not showing in tabs

Hi everybody!

I have a problem with taskspace, i just use taskspace, form buider and process builder 6.5sp1.

I created several custom actions in taskspace, but when I add that custom actions to tasklist tab, only some custom actions appear but not all.

for example I add a import custom action and appear correctly but others like applylifecycle or promote o demote, don't appear.

I try to resolve this issues with other way, I created custom action in taskspace and I invoked that action by invoke button in form builder; in this case in the application, the appear but is disable.

I do not know if is necesary other customization in TS for showing that custom action? or why dont appear?.

why the invoke button is disable in the taskList tab?

Can anyone help me??

We are running into the same problem - did you find a solution?

We create an action that is supposed to start a process. Then in a tasklist tab, we wanted a button to appear to invoke that action... it's not appearing.

Additional information that may also be relevant to your case back then...

The process and action are both created by Administrator... and the same with the tab. However, when we assign the action to a button to be displayed to a user in a DIFFERENT role - e.g. mail_processor as opposed to Administrator - then the button does not appear.

If we temporarily make the user a Superuser, the button appears and all is well...

What permissions do we need to change to make the button/process/etc. accessible by a different role?

Hi everyone!

I found the solution.

I was trying to add custom action in the functionality of one button, that was my goal.

How I did that?

First of all I created an action (type = advanced), any advance action, in the ActionName I put the id of the custom action, and the label that I liked to see.

I pressed in Next button and finish, then I just added the action in the tab and ready.

The next step is to create a custom action, the id that you put in the ActionName. You have to create an action, component and others.

and then copy the custom action in custom folder in taskspace application. The action calls a wdk action, for more information how to create a action(xml), component(xml) review the Web_Development_Kit_6.5_Tutorial.

Just restart the server and ready.
