restricting the values in type dropdown @ the tym of import

I want to restrict the object types in type dropdown list.I want only the custom object type to be displayed in that list.

I read in content server admin guide and follow the steps mentioned there but after creating xml and class file I am

not able to restart the application from tomcat manger.Can any one plz help me in this issue.

The other option is to control using presets. I have used presets to control this.

Meanwhile if you can tell us the error you are getting by checking tomcat logs would be helpful in diagnosing ur problem.

I have restarted the apache but it is still not working.

I am getting the following error.

this is wat I am getting in manager and below is the error in the logs.

first, delete this xml,then restart appserver,if success,go to sencond.otherwise,the orgianal app have some problem,please troubleshooting before

second, replace your xml with the following code ,restart appserver if if success,congratulations.otherwise,plz paste ,the com.cmp1.test.MyImportContent code and the appserver fullstack error

I jst delete the xml file from cutom/config folder then restart the apache...the application is up ...
this confirms that smthing is wrong with the xml file only
but when i replace the code wid the one u provided
