All,
Does Interwoven still offer the OpenChannel product. I cannot seem to reference it on their web site. Has it been renamed? What exactly does it do?

Any thoughts are this would be great.

I think it was EOL (End Of Lifed), but you can ask your local sales team for certain.

It was an addition to the Java based GUI (which they seem to be moving away from), which had some cool features for templating. Hopefully they will move some or all functionality into TeamSite Templating.

The idea behind OC was that templates would often make many types of content, DCT -> HTML -> WML, etc. OC made that easier by integrating phone emulators into the system.

OC also had the ability to have presentation specific fields that may or may not have been tied to the DCR. FOr example, you might have a Article Title, which was 60 characters in the DCR. The WML result could have a 60 character title, or you could specify a 30 character title only for a certain PT type. That is a very nice feature for TST to pick up.
