iwconvert just stops

I've tried iwconvert for a particular sub-branch from W2K TS 5.0.1 to W2K TS 5.5.2, and it just stops in the middle of a particular edition, with no apparent error. The last time I tried this, I converted to a new backing store on the target server, to see if that made any difference; it didn't. What could be wrong with this editon? Why won't IWConvert give me an error?

Looking at the log, looks like it has converted about 75 editions, from v6_0_0_0001 to v6_0_0_0075. So, are you saying that there are more editions in source and it did not convert them? Does the editions the log says that are converted look good in the target?

I must be reading the log incorrectly. What I see is that it finds all 75 editions in the source backing store, then it proceeds to convert, starting at the first edition and getting up to the 12th. Within the 12th, the process stops.

To make seeing this level of information easier, I've grep'd the log for the string 'edition'

Sorry, I was wrong about the log info. Yes, it seems to be stopping at the 12th edition.

Did you retry it and does it happen every time? Did you try with -s edition11 -e edition13 to see if those three editions gets converted properly, and then maybe -s edition12 -e edition12 to see if edition12 is the culprit?
