Filtering imported files

Using WebDesk as an author and selecting "File --> Import..." Is there any way to filter the file list so the author only has a limited set of files to choose from? Also, is there any way to automatically place them in a certain directory?

we requested this feature around 6-8 months ago. It is a really large security issue if you ask me. I think there is a feature request, you should add your company to the list.

There are some third party tools that you may look into such as JSP upload.
