Open Deploy receiver die if the shell is exited.

All of a sudden Open deploy services on my receiver boxes (SunOS gamma 5.8 Generic_108528-16 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-80 ) have started stopping as soon as the shell which invoked them is exited.

The admin generally logged in as "root' and kicked off "/etc/init.d/iwod start-stop". Now as soon as he close the sessions, open deploy stops running.

I saw this as a known bug in Open Deploy 5.6 ( bug # 37505, 36250) but was wondering if any body has experienced the same thing on OP 5.5.1 SP2 on Solaris.

Both of these bugs appear to exist in OD 5.5.1 SP2. The good news is that a fix is targeted for OD 5.6 SP1. So you may want to upgrade to 5.6 in anticipation.
