telnet to OD port ?

Used to be, with older OpenDeploy, you could telnet to the port for OpenDeploy and tell that it is running. Has that functionality changed in later releases ? Is there a way to verify that the OD receiver is hanging on a port ?

figured it out,

telnet server 20014

you will get something like this at the end of odbase.log:
