Check if a file is locked

Guys,

I need to check if the file attached to a particular workflow is locked.

We call an external task at the start of the workflow, which needs to check whether the attached file is locked and depending on that the appropriate successorset is decided.

Is there any means by which I can find out whether a file is locked or not?

If you search in your /iw-home/bin/ directory you will find a command line tool - iwlistlocks.
This will list the files with locks on them.
