Has anyone experienced a problem where, after TeamSite has been running for a while, and the RAM consumed by the iwserver process grows to a considerable size, workflows will hang when calling an external task?
I have now worked in two entirely different environments and seen this happen. On Solaris 8, TS5.0.1, with 2 Gig of RAM, when the iwserver process got above about 800 Mg of RAM.
On a Windows2K server with 8 Gig of RAM, when the iwserver process got about about 1.5 Gig of RAM.
This problem is always resolved by bouncing the box(Windows) or the TS server(Solaris), but this seems like a workaround to a problem that I should not be having.
BTW - On both systems, the external task will work fine for long periods of time. They only fail when the RAM usage of iwserver gets big.
