WebDeskPro problem
System
After a clean installation of TS552+SP4; there is a very strange problem:
I login as administrator (any role) and get the error message "An error has occured trying to obtain the todo list. The message returned by the server is: GetSciErrorString is unable to open a session." When I switch to the Workarea view the branch list is empty; the file list window contain the message "TeamSite Server: teamdev Version: 5.5.2 Build 23679 Interwoven 20030813" and virtually nothing seems to work. There is no "Create Branch" item in the menu for example.
TeamSite is working on the other hand; I can create branches using command line tools; I can access the task list using the Author Webdesk interface, etc.
TeamSite is running on W2KSP4, with all critical patches installed. What is going on?
Thanx.

Not sure but I remember reading other posts about W2K SP4 breaking Teamsite.
Search the DevNet for more info on this.
Maybe someone else will also verify this.

At this point in time - TeamSite is NOT supported on W2K SP4 - furthermore I believe it has been pretty much proven that it will NOT WORK on W2K SP4 - so if you are trying to debug something in that environment, save your time - back out SP4.
There is a patch / hot-fix / whatever for the blaster stuff that can be applied to W2K SP3 - and TeamSite WILL work in that environment.

Did you find a solution to this problem? we are also experiencing the same problem on Solaris.
If you found a solution please help.
Thanks

There is no solution today for this configuration. This version of Windows SP is not yet supported by IWOV. This configuration is being debuged and certified now.

Then you have a different problem. Have you checked the TeamSIte logs? Is this a new installation, or an upgrade? You probably should file a support case to get some help, there is not really enough to go on right now.
Sorry.
