iwevent.log & iwtrace.log Disable verbose logging.

I took notice to truncating log files and I was looking in the admin documents. I didn't see any method for setting the logging level. I only want to log certain things to reduce the size of our log files.

Is there any configuration for doing this?

There are a couple of settings one can put in the iw.cfg that will make the logfiles *bigger* but there is currently no way to limit the base level of logging to reduce the overall size of the logfiles.

At this time, the only way to do this is with custom code to manage logfile rollover.

I've attached a script that I wrote for my current customer - it may need tweaking to work in your environment. It is expected to be run as a cron job during a period of time when the TeamSite server has been *stopped* (not just frozen). One could probably modify it to make it work with a frozen (or even active) server, but I'll leave that exercise to someone else for now.
