Referencing a TPL and DCR in another workarea

I have a tpl called a.tpl. In the tpl, I'm attempting to use the iw_include tag to reference a tpl in another workarea.

Ex:

With this code, if $header contains the string Gary, if the Left Nav Panel is not null, get navPanl.tpl and params for specific DCR elements and embed data into a.tpl file.

Is this correct?

RESOLVED: Appended the drive letter to beginning of the link.

Ex:
Y:/default/main/....
