We're experiencing intermitent deployment failures which display the following errors in the OD logs below. From our analysis, we identified the large deployment of content cause the failure but not 100% sure. Content size may run around 50MB to a few 100MB. OD 5.5.1 was installed on W2K servers. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
Besides identifying the intermittent deployment failures, I have additional questions on how OD manages permissions to content promoted to the target servers.
- If target permissions are not defined in the definition conf file, how does OD manage what permissions to apply after content is deployed to the target servers?
- If deploying between W2K server and in the definition conf file, have Unix style permissions defined for the target permission setting, how does OD handle that or what does OD do or what should OD do in this type of scenerio?
