CCI links and Login page

I'm using CCI links in an email which is sent by a task in a workflow. When
a user selects the CCI link, they are prompted to login. If the user has a
TS session already open, shouldn't the login page be ignored? Or the better
question, how could one bypass the login page if a TS session is already
open?

Yes, if the cookie or session hasn't expired they shouldn't be redirected to the login.

Can you give an example of the full CCI link you are providing?

I would try to delete the "sadr.gmacinsurance.com" cookie and try to see if the cookie is set when you login via the CCI links. Also, this affects all CCI links correct?

Yes, all CCI links are affected except edit.

Is there a way disable/remove the default role setting? Seems like the CCI links are setup of Authors since the Login Page has the option selected has the default.
