/.iwmnt /iwmnt on windows....

Hi Guys,

No real biggy, just a question of curiosity.

On solaris TeamSite provides two NFS mounts, one cached and one not.

On Windows I can just see one drive (Y Smiley Happy

Is this because there are no real performance issues on windows with the IFS?...

Solaris has two NFS mount points, one of them is with NFS attribute caching, one of them without.

Windows file shares don't have something similar, and/or we didn't need it on Windows.

I'm not sure that it has anything to do with performance...? I don't recall off the top of my head why Solaris needed both mount points.
