Hi,

The summarizer doesn't use a training set (that's for a classifier), but a set of indexed documents. You can think of it as a reference for getting information about the significance of words and phrases, in order to identify keywords, keyphrases, key sentences, etc. Chapter 10 of the MetaTagger Administration Guide is the chapter that describes building a summarizer, which includes detailed instructions on how to build your index.
