Our TeamSite set-up is 5.5.2 on Windows 2000 Server

Has anyone ever got the message "No submit performed" when running iwsubmit -x on a TS file? We are running a script that automatically submits files to STAGING, and we get an error message

ERROR:02404: No submit performed

Any ideas?

Is it possible that the file hasn't changed, therefore doesn't need to be submitted?

Look to see if the file is locked by another workarea. I have had this happen before. WA 1 leaves a lock lying around, WA 2 changes (w/o) locking & they are not paying attention to the lock icon as opposed to the key in the gui.

Like Matt said, files could be identical

That error code (02404) means that the file you tried to submit was identical to the STAGING area copy and no submit was performed.

iwsubmit -x /default/main/intranet/procurement/WORKAREA/icoleman/shahtest.txt 'Shah command line'

ls -lt /default/main/intranet/procurement/STAGING/shahtest.txt
/default/main/intranet/procurement/STAGING/shahtest.txt: No such file or directory

Any suggestions, please? We restarted TS, to no avail.

Environment: TS 6.1 SP1 on Solaris 8.

Does the file exist in the workarea? (you showed an 'ls' that indicates it doesn't exist in the staging area) - also I recommend using the '-r' flag whenever using the 'iwsubmit' CLT - so that you get a report of what happened (when it happens).

Is this a recent installation / upgrade or a server that's been working for a while now?
