Open Deploy Interfering with Access DB
Thumper
We added Open Deploy(receiving software) to a server with a web application that uses a back end MS Access DB. The application would just hang up then time out. Once Open Deploy was un-installed everything was back to normal. Has anyone else seen Open Deploy interfer with a back end DB?

Check what port the app was using, this is a candidate.

Access connect via the System DSN. How do you find the port? I would not think Open Deploy would use the same post as MS Access's. OD's post is 20014.

20014 is for data transfer. There are additional ports used for administration and reporting. The OpenDeploy 5.6 Reference, chapter 13, provides a summary of ports and default values.
OD also uses the TMP system env variable on Windows systems. Not sure if that's used by Access, but if you changed the value during OD installation it may have affected things.
