Mixed mode authentication

Is there a mixed mode of authentication available for teamsite ie LDAP as well as OS. The scenario is some thing like this: We have a few sites managed by interwoven, all of them having local OS (solaris) users. A new site to be added has the requirement of user authentication using LDAP. Is there a way to achieve this without fresh teamsite installation?

You can separate multiple entries by commas or spaces, and you can specify precedence. For example, if you specify authenticate_by = file pam, the file is checked first. If this check fails, pam is checked next.

So, you probably want to set up like this authenticate_by = ldap local.

There are two caveates to this:

It is not possible to mix the Authentication that Solaris uses, only TS, which means that the user has to have an account on the Unix box, even it they are authenticating against the LDAP
• When TeamSite roles are stored in LDAP, it is not possible to use multiple authentication methods: the authenticate_by parameter must be set to only ldap.
