iwmtbatch: error when run
andrew_yeo
i'm getting this error by just simply running the CLT "iwmtbatch",
"ld.so.1: iwmtbatch: fatal: libteamsite_api.so: open failed: No such file or directory
Killed"
any idea what's wrong?

I had this issue before setting up LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable. I have currently set this to
LD_LIBRARY_PATH =$MT_HOME/lib/:/$IW_HOME/lib:$IW_HOME/iwopenapi/
where $MT_HOME is metaggaer home directory and $IW_HOME is the teamsite home.
Hope this helps..

For MT3.5 on solaris TeamSite 5.5 host, the LD_LIBRARY_PATH env var is relevant, and should include <iw-home>/lib:<iw-home>/iwopenapi. The env-metatagger.sh file correctly sets this, as it obtains <iw-home> from the value in /etc/defaultiwhome and then sets and exports LD_LIBRARY_PATH.
Note that env-metatagger.sh cannot be executed. It must be sourced. I.e. the command to run is ". <mt-home>/conf/env-metatagger.sh", that is <dot> then <space> then env-metatagger.sh file. Note "." is the bourne style shell "source" command, which performs commands in the current shell, not in a child shell.
