File Permissions changing after DNR script exec
Tej
There is a DNR script which runs on the reciever. This DNR script (sh script) does an iPlanet Web Deployment using iPlanet command (wdeploy). This basically extracts the files into the iPlanet Web Server. Post deployment the file/folder permissions in the iPlanet server is becoming 666/777, whereas it should be 644/755. Client says there is no problem with iPlanet command and if the DNR script is run from the command prompt, this permission problem doesn't exist. But if run from OD, then we have improper file/folder permission problem.
Is it a known problem? What are the possible workarounds?
Thanks in advance

Just a guess, but maybe the script is being run as a different user when invoked from OD as opposed to when run from the command line. Is the script doing any chmod commands?

The script is run as the same user. And the script is not doing any chmod stuff at all.

Could the perms be getting altered by the actual deployment, rather than by the DNR?
