OD exception outside the VM

13adam13

This is OD 5.5.1 Build 11146 SYM on a Sun Solaris 2.8 box.
I am getting this error in my od.log on the receiver when trying to start up the receiver.

Start logging to OpenDeploy server log.
An unexpected exception has been detected in native code outside the VM.

Anyone seen and fixed this error?

Thanx

The build number would indicate that you are at OD 551 SP2. When did this error begin to occur? Do you have all the latest Solaris patches for Java installed?

Looks like this problem was caused because the web server ran out of hard drive space. When this happened, the last deployment to that server failed, and then we couldn't get the reciever to start up again.

I have tried to convince the administrators on the box that putting the OD receiver and log files in the web mount is a bad idea, but they choose not to listen.

After some space was recovered, the OD receiver started up with no problems. I am thinking that the error message was trying to say something like I tried to start writing to the log, but couldn't, so I am quitting
