Could not find matching OD Client (sorry, again)

I'm getting the "Could not find matching OD Client" error that is mentioned several times in this group and tried the suggestions to no avail.

The part that baffels me is that the log says it connects! Am I reading this wrong?:

1) I've used IP addresses in my odnodes.xml file
2) We have other deployments going to other servers.
3) I ran a test on the reciever that sent data to itself that was successful.

On your Receiver - in the odrcvr.xml - do you have the allowedHosts setup to include the name or IP address of your Base Server? If you're going through a firewall that superimposes its IP address in place of the actual Base Server - do you specify the firewall's IP address within the allowedHosts section of the odrcvr.xml?

In both cases - if you made the change to the odrcvr.xml - did you remember to stop / re-start the OpenDeploy server/services on the Receiver for those changes to take effect?
