Password length

Has anyone run into issues with the password length of a domain user? I understand the Teamsite max is 14 characters, which is fine for local users. But it seems that the limit for domain users is 8. Has anyone run into this before?

I routinely use longer (12 to 14 character) passwords for
Interwoven domain accounts. TeamSite 5.5.X servers
will accept any valid Windows password up to 14 characters
in length. If the password is accepted by Windows for a
Windows login, and it is 14 characters in length or shorter,
it will also be suitable for TeamSite.

However, if you are running TeamSite under Solaris, and
you are not using LDAP or PAM, you are limited to
passwords that are no more than 9 characters in length.
(This is a limitation of Solaris, not of TeamSite, and it does not
apply to TeamSite servers running under Windows.)
