Multihomed issue

The situation is this :

We have the od-reciever on a server with 2 network interfaces connected to 2 different lans.

Only one interface is up at anytime so one is on stand-by.

When we fail over from 1 lan to another the ip addresses change.

Can you configure OD to handle this situation, as when we failover to our other network we will need to stop and start od and change the config to point to the new addresses?

Can OD work in a multihomed environment?

OD does not have built-in fail-over support for multiple LANs. I think you'll have to stop and restart the receiver in this situation.

Perhaps your failover process can take care of this automatically?
