Do you have something like this in your iw.cfg?
[FrontOffice]
auto_index=no
index_template_name=index_template.htx
wf_submit=no
metadata_capture=yes
server_log_file=/teamsite/iw-logs/tfoserver.log
The last line, server_log_file, is optional, but may help you in capture any traffic to your TFO server. If you bounce your IW server, then try to connect via your client again, you should see
something
in your TFO log. If you don't see anything, check to make sure that there aren't any firewalls or anything in the way.
I'm assuming of course, then you can ping/telnet/ftp/etc your IW server from the client PC that you're having trouble with.
Lastly, did you configure your iwaa.cfg file to allow your user to connect to a valid WORKAREA?

Thanx for your reply.
In my iw.cfg
server_log_file=/teamsite/iw-logs/tfoserver.log
i don't have above line in [FrontOffice] section.
Actually under my teamsite folder i am not seeing any folder like iw-logs/tfoserver.log
Do i need create manually or It will come by default with FrontOffice Server Installation?
Thanx once again for your reply

Hi,
You'll have to add the 'server_log_file=' line manually and the log file will be created automatically.

Yeah, that was just my example. I happen to have my TeamSIte instance installed in /teamsite. I created a separate directory called /teamsite/iw-logs to use as the storage for all the logs that normally go in /var
Once you point your iw.cfg to a tfo log, (you might have to bounce TS), the log should be created automatically.
