Parsing an DCR for automatic update

Gidday All,

I wish to parse a dcr to generate a drop down selection list for inclusion in a dct.

I assume the file path is correct as I have built another cgi-callout that retrieves a list of dcr's from a particular directory and displays these as a drop down selection list.

This is the first time I have done this.

This is the content of the cgi-callout I am writing.

I think the problem is with this line:

my $xml_string = qq[y:/default/main/aphrweb/testbranch/WORKAREA/wa/templatedata/TopicIndexPages/TopicMaster/data/topicmaster.dcr];

I'm fairly certain that DCRNode takes an xml string, not a path to an xml file. So, you would have to do something like:

open FILE, qq[y:/default/main/aphrweb/testbranch/WORKAREA/wa/templatedata/TopicIndexPages/TopicMaster/data/topicmaster.dcr];
my @lines = <FILE>;
close FILE;
my $xml_string = join "", @lines;

Then you can create you're new DCRNode object, and all should work. The reason it works when you replace the filename with the actual string is because that is what DCRNode expects - a string containing XML.

An internal problem was encountered trying to create a requirements object for type TopicIndexPages/test.

I perserverd and got it working, and have another question.

Below is the part of my datacapture.cfg that I want to get the results from.

Now this code returns only the first heading from each column.

A column could have any number of headings, I would like it to return all the headings.
