New Job screen UX
jorge1
Hi,
I am wondering if it is possible to change the presentation of the New job screen.
Let me make myself clear:
There is a list of workflows in the new job screen and they appear in a sequence, their names are different and I used added some characters like "++", "**" as prefix to help users to identify them in a certain context.
Still the users would like to see a clear separation between workflows that belong to different contexts, even if it's only a empty row. Ideally with a title as well but this would be just a "nice to have".
Does anyone ever crossed something similar regarding the user experience?
Thanks in advance!
Cheers,
jorge

Just an additional info that might be interesting:
I added a comment line in available_templates.cfg like:
(removed closing marks in order to appear)
....
<'/template_file'...
<'!--empty row -- ...
<'template_file name...
.....
it creates a empty row in the new job screen however it is visualized as a workflow without title with the possibility of being run and getting to the error page...
BTW: iw 5.0.1 on solaris!

Update!!!
the last suggestion didn't works!
Rather try something like this:
<template_file name="">
<command_list>
<command value="new_job">
</command>
<command include="no" value="all">
</command>
</command_list>
<role_list>
<role value='master' include='yes' allusers='yes'/>
</role_list>
</template_file>
The reason is that it considers the command values as if they were all there, so for instance, when someone creates dcr and saves it, in the moment it will try to close it a window pop's up asking if it should be added to the subbmit workflow!!
Cheers,
jorge
