Problems with __TAG__
meikel
Hi,
I have a WF with a tag-info like
wf_timeout =>
[ html => "<select>" .
"<option value=\"none\" selected>no timeout</option>" .
"<option value=\"+000100\">1 day</option>" .
"<option value=\"+000200\">2 days</option>" .
"<option value=\"+000300\">3 days</option>" .
"</select>",
label => "timeout",
error_msg => "plese select a timeout",
is_required => 'true',
],
Later i try to make some decisions, like:
$timeout = "__TAG__('wf_timeout');";
if($timeout = ~ /none/)
{
#do something
}
else
{
#do something different
}
But everytime the "else" block is called.
Where's the problem?
regards
meikel

if($timeout = ~ /none/)
In your example you have a space between the
=
and the
~
. If this not just a typo in how you copied it into your post, it's wrong and your
if
will always go down the
else
path.

Try changing __TAG__() to __VALUE__().
__TAG__ (and __INSERT__) is used within the XML portion of the WFT.
__VALUE__ is used within the Perl (template_script) sections of the WFT
